The School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) is located in historic South Hall. Built in 1873, it is the oldest building on the Berkeley campus. South Hall is located in the heart of campus, near the Doe Library and the Campanile. An interesting fact, the home featured on the set in the film Mary Poppins is based on the façade of South Hall.
